The Playwrights Realm, www.playwrightsrealm.org, under the leadership of Artistic Director Katherine Kovner, will celebrate its fifth birthday with a Writers Block Party at The Museum of Modern Art, 11 West 53rd Street, Tuesday, April 17, at 6:00pm.

EBE Ensemble (Eric Alba, Artistic Director) will present the fifth installment of their New York Innovative Theatre Award-winning one-act play festival, May 3-12 at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). Elephants on Parade 2012 will feature new plays by Jeff Carter, Patrick Gabridge, Barbara Lindsay, Jen Silverman, Sonya Sobieski, and John Weagly.

Profiles Theatre announces a second extension for their hit world premiere of Assisted Living by Deirdre O'Connor, directed by Profiles Artistic Director Joe Jahraus.

Profiles Theatre announces the third and final extension for their hit world premiere of Assisted Living by Deirdre O'Connor, directed by Profiles Artistic Director Joe Jahraus. The critically acclaimed production has been extended an additional four weeks, through March 18, 2012, at Profiles alternate venue The Second Stage, 3408 N. Sheffield in Chicago.

For its second edition, Piper McKenzie will present one-night-only performances of three new plays written in this unique collaborative style, with results ranging from inspired chaos to eerie synchronicity - all tied together by the unique voices of 18 hot playwrights, divided into three teams and staged by three intrepid directors.
