Broadway's landmark musical event THE LION KING is pleased to welcome ADAM JACOBS as Simba, beginning performances the week of August 29. Jacobs, who most recently starred in the title role of the world premiere of Aladdin at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, previously played the role of Simba on national tour. MARY POPPINS will welcome to the company Karl Kenzler as George Banks and Megan Osterhaus as Winifred Banks tonight, Monday, March 1. Kenzler and Osterhaus reprise the roles they originated in the critically-acclaimed North American touring production (currently performing in Tempe, Arizona through February 28 before opening in Denver, Colorado on March 5). 24-year old Noortje Herlaar has won the role of Mary Poppins after competing on a Dutch television show aimed at finding actor to fill the role. Fans came out in droves to vote for Herlaar, who won the competition.
