MTV, a unit of Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), today announced the dates for the biggest nights in music and movies for 2012: The MTV Movie Awards and the MTV Video Music Awards.

Imagem Music, a division of the Imagem Music Group, has signed a worldwide, multi-year co-publishing agreement with singer/songwriter Hesta Prynn (aka Julie Potash).

Due to overwhelming demand for the pairing of superstars Kanye West & Jay-Z, additional shows have been added to their historic Watch the Throne Tour(Powered By VoyR). New tour stops include two shows in New York City at Madison Square Garden on November 7th and 8th, Chicago at the United Center on November 30th and Los Angeles at the Staples Center on December 13th.

Since debuting in 2001, the SCREAM TOUR quickly proved to be the most successful teen concert series America has ever witnessed. THE SCREAM TOUR also became a platform for all young artists who wanted to make the transition from obscurity to superstar status and be seen by thousands of screaming fans within a concert setting.

ABC Family enters into the world of music with its first movie musical featuring an incredibly talented cast, including Jane Seymour, Chelsea Kane, Sara Paxton, Alexander John, Drew Seeley, Adrienne Bailon and Tom Wopat. The two-hour original movie, 'Elixir' (working title), also features a stellar creative team in producer Debra Martin Chase and Terry Rossio, writers Terry Rossio & Jaylynn Bailey, choreographer Michael Rooney and director Sanaa Hamri. The movie will feature unforgettable covers as well as several original songs and show-stopping dance numbers. Principal shooting is scheduled to start September 26 in Pittsburgh, PA. This original movie is slated to premiere on ABC Family in 2012.

On September 24-25, The Life is good Festival will return to Prowse Farm in Canton, MA, a suburb of Boston, at the base of the Blue Hills.
