On this week's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, Hunk Junktion's new hires (Jay Pharoah, Taran Killam, Beck Bennett, and host Chris Hemsworth) put on a different kind of show!

Saturday's episode of NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE featured a spoof on last week's live broadcat of THE WIZ LIVE! In the sketch, West Oz's Scarecrow (host Ryan Gosling) mistakenly ends up in East Oz with Dorothy (Sasheer Zamata), Cowardly Lion (Kenan Thompson), Tin Man (Jay Pharoah), Scarecrow (Michael Che) and The Wiz (Leslie Jones).

THE WIZ LIVE! rocked NBC last night will over 11 million viewers and celebrities were among the biggest fans of the night. Last year, the Twittersphere exploded with tens of thousands of viewer responses to NBC's Peter Pan Live! and this year the tweets didn't slow down!

The fourth First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival (Thursday, September 17 - Saturday, September 26) announced its complete lineup this morning at its annual BIG REVEAL at The Little Theatre. The 2015 Fringe will include more than 500 performances and events (up from 2014's 380) featuring all genres of art in 25+ venues in downtown Rochester, with more than 120 of them offered free of charge. Led by Artistic Director Robert Battle, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's 2015 Lincoln Center engagement kicked off with a star-studded Ailey Spirit Gala on Wednesday, June 10th. The one-night-only benefit performance and party honoring the Ford Foundation and sponsored by FedEx featured supermodel and actor Tyson Beckford as Honorary Chair. Gala Co-Chairs were Gina F. Adams, Ricki Lander, Almaz & Marc S. Strachan, Pamela Zilly & John Schaefer and Daria L. & Eric J. Wallach, and the Vice Chairs were Michele & Timothy Barakett, Dr. N. Anthony & Robyn Coles, and Leslie & Tom Maheras. The evening helped raise over $1 million for Ailey's extensive educational programs for young people, including AileyCamp and scholarships to The Ailey School.

Taye Diggs will make his return to Broadway in HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. According to the New York Post, the 'Rent' star is already getting into character for the gender-bending role.
