Uptown Players, a professional theater group located in the Uptown area of Dallas, has announced its programming for the 3rd annual Dallas Pride Performing Arts Festival. From September 5 - 14, 2013, Uptown Players will present a nine-day festival of plays, staged readings and cabaret acts celebrating Dallas Gay Pride.

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) announces the nominees forthe MITF Tenth Anniversary Season Awards. The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) announces selections for the 2009 Season, running from July 13 - August 2, 2009. 43 plays and musicals have been chosen, as well as four readings. Selected plays for SHORT SUBJECTS, a new division for plays that run under 60 minutes, will be announced at a later date.
