MTV today announced that the Foo Fighters will rock the '2011 MTV Movie Awards' stage for the first time since 2005, debuting their next single, 'Walk,' off their seventh studio album 'Wasting Light.'

Production begins this week on Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, written and directed by Lorene Scafaria. The pre-apocalyptic comedy stars Golden Globe Award winner Steve Carell and Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley.

The Muppets are set to make another big screen splash this year, more than 30 years after their big screen debut. Featuring the talents of a slew of stars - Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Rashida Jones, Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Liza Minnelli, Katy Griffin, and John Kraskinski, to name a few - the film is slated for a November 23 release.

Grammy Award-winning Lupe Fiasco will treat viewers to two songs from his hit album LASERS, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts. Fiasco will first rip the stage with the television debut of Fiasco and Trey Songz's collaborative single 'Out of My Head,' to be followed by a performance of his platinum single 'The Show Goes On.'

The '2011 MTV Movie Awards' will be the hottest ticket in town with Hollywood's biggest names ready to hand out golden popcorn awards LIVE on Sunday, June 5 at 9pm ET/8pm CT. The first presenters to be announced, fans can tune-in to see the Green Lantern super powers of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively as well as the talented duo Steve Carell and Emma Stone.
