GLAAD Media Award recipients were announced in 16 of this year's 29 media categories at the 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, presented nationally by Ketel One Vodka, Wells Fargo, and Hilton Worldwide, and locally by Delta Air Lines and Bud Light, at the Waldorf Astoria New York on Saturday night.

'Silent Risk' Explores Risk to Countless Unborn Children

After 30 years of obstetrical experience, Dr. Jason H. Collins realized that a study of umbilical cord accidents (UCA) was needed. According to studies by the National Institutes of Health, UCAs constitutes 10-15% of stillbirths. Most unborn babies lost to UCA were normal, making their deaths needless and possibly preventable, as unexpected as they were.
