The Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, announced today that it will launch a downtown creative hub during its 14th edition, April 15-April 26, 2015, which will provide a destination for festivalgoers to gather, collaborate and share stories in New York City. A residency at Spring Studios-a 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art creative, production & event center located at 50 Varick Street-will bring filmmakers, artists, audiences, partners and VIPs together in one place. Collective spaces for filmmakers, industry, press, will supplement venues for the majority of the Festival's special events including Tribeca Talks, innovation events, Awards Night, and parties. The Festival has created a new Resident Pass that will provide access to the creative hub for the duration of the Festival and a Resident Day Pass that will provide day-to-day access. Both passes go on sale January 20th.

In 1945, Robert De Niro, Sr.'s work was included in the Autumn Salon at Peggy Guggenheim's Art of This Century gallery along with that of Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko. The next year, he had his first solo exhibition at Guggenheim's gallery, an extremely prestigious honor for the young figurative painter. But while De Niro continued to show at the highly regarded Charles Egan Gallery throughout the 1950s, his career began to slip out of the critical spotlight, and he struggled for recognition in subsequent decades.

The 2014 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), co-founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff, and presented by AT&T, today announced that during the Festival's 13th edition more than 400,000 people attended screenings, panels, talks and free community events – including the Tribeca Drive-In series, Family Festival Street Fair, Tribeca/ESPN Sports Day, as well as the first-ever Tribeca Innovation Week which featured the Storyscapes installation at the Bombay Sapphire House of Imagination, the Future of Film series, Games for Change, the Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards, Tribeca Hacks , and TFI Interactive.

The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts have partnered with Tribeca Film Institute® (TFI) for the second time to present April's Midnight Moment. This month's film, Local/Express, is made by some of the 20 participants in this year's Tribeca Film Fellows® program, a year-long fellowship for New York City students aged 16-18. The film will premiere on Times Square's spectacular billboards just before midnight on Wednesday, April 1st, and play every night throughout April from 11:57 p.m.-midnight.
