According to Deadline, Geoffrey Rush has officially signed on to play OLIVER! composer Lionel Bart in Vadim Jean's upcoming musical biopic CONSIDER YOURSELF.
The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) today announced its programs for the 2015–16 concert season, Jacques Lacombe's sixth and final season as the Orchestra's music director. Fulfilling its mission as a statewide orchestra, the NJSO brings subscription programs to venues in Newark, New Brunswick, Princeton, Morristown, Red Bank and Englewood, with 14 weeks of subscription classical programs, five pops programs and three family concerts, as well as several special concerts.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announces the full cast for the U.S. premiere production of The Herd, a deftly comic play by Rory Kinnear. Directed by ensemble member and Tony Award-winning director Frank Galati, the cast features ensemble members Francis Guinan, John Mahoney, Molly Regan and Lois Smith with Cliff Chamberlain and Audrey Francis. The Herd premiered at London's Bush Theatre in 2013.

The National GUITAR Museum announced that Buddy Guy, the pioneering electric blues guitarist who influenced a generation of rock guitarists, is the recipient of its 'Lifetime Achievement' Award for 2014. Buddy is the fifth recipient of the award, following David 'Honeyboy' Edwards in 2010, Roger McGuinn of The Byrds in 2011, B.B. King in 2012, and 'James Bond' guitarist Vic Flick in 2013.
