Up a River/Down the Aisle, a new solo show written and performed by Jake Lipman, has advanced to the Semi-Finals of The Riant Theatre's Summer 2009 Strawberry One-Act Festival, performing on Tuesday, August 18 at 7 p.m. Up A River/Down the Aisle is directed by Brian W. Seibert, and developed with Matt Hoverman.
The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) announces selected plays for SHORT SUBJECTS, a new division for plays that run under 60 minutes, running from July 13 - August 2, 2009. 43 plays and musicals have also been chosen, as well as three Studio Series shows and five readings.
