Goodman Theatre announces Broadway stars John Dossett and Douglas Sills will join the cast of War Paint, a new musical starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole as Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden, respectively. Dossett will portray Tommy Lewis, Miss Arden's husband and chief marketing officer, and Sills will portray the ambitious Harry Fleming, Madame Rubinstein's clubby confidante and faithful ally.

Houston, March 22, 2016— Houston Grand Opera (HGO) is extending the company's offer of free renewals for subscription packages to all laid-off employees from the energy industry who are current subscribers. HGO first announced the offer in September 2015 for subscriptions to the current season. Carnegie Hall today announced that mezzo-soprano Susan Graham must regrettably cancel her upcoming concert Susan Graham and Friends-which was to have also featured soprano Christine Goerke, baritone Rod Gilfry, and pianist Jake Heggie-scheduled for Thursday, May 12 in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage due to personal and professional reasons. "I was meeting obstacles that prevented it from becoming the kind of evening I had originally envisioned," Graham explains. "I am deeply regretful, as I was looking forward to a collaboration with friends old and new, and greatly look forward to the opportunity to reprise the concept soon."
