New Ohio Theatre presents a remounting of George & Co.'s HOLDEN, directed by Anisa George and written by Anisa George in collaboration with the ensemble. Originally developed at the 2015 Ice Factory Festival, HOLDEN returns January 5-14, 2017.

Clinton Hill cultural hub and OBIE award-winner JACK launches its winter/spring 2016 season with an a cappella opera set in Zimbabwe by composer Tanyaradzwa Tawengwa, a weekend of curated works by Modesto "Flako" Jimenez, the premiere of the dirty and bracing play Tom & Eliza, by Celine Song, the English-language premiere of Argentinian playwright Rafael Spregelburd's SPAM, The Geneva Project by Jennifer Harrison Newman, Antonio Ramos' Thirsty Mind, love and starvation sitting in a lonely tree and an exploration in minimalist/pop art performance by the No Face Performance Group.  JACK also engineers the return of Walter Dundervill's ARENA (which had two sold-out runs at JACK in 2014 and 2015).

The Exchange today announced the artists and companies who will participate in its 2015 Orchard Project summer residency program. Twenty-two artists and ensembles (listed below) were selected from a competitive field of nearly 500 applicants to develop their big, new ideas at the Orchard Project. This will be the eighth summer - and the first summer in Saratoga Springs, NY - for the Orchard Project, a laboratory program where theatre artists and companies come to innovate, develop, and refine new shows. Past productions developed at the Orchard Project have gone on to be performed around the globe for over 500,000 people and to win awards from TONYs to Obies to Oliviers.

Called a "wild rumpus of a show" by the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2011, Pig Iron Theatre Company's raucous, spirited Twelfth Night, or What You Will returns to Philadelphia for a three-week holiday engagement at FringeArts' new waterfront theater, Dec. 4-22, 2013. Buoyed by live Balkan-inspired music performed by members of the West Philadelphia Orchestra, Pig Iron's exuberant staging of the Shakespeare comedy breathes new life into the Bard's classic script with equal measures of absurdity and heart.
