THURGOOD, filmed in front of a live audience at the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater in Washington, D.C., will debut THURSDAY, FEB. 24 (9:00-10:45 p.m. ET/PT) during Black History Month, exclusively on HBO, it was announced today by Len Amato, president, HBO Films. The one-man play stars Laurence Fishburne in his Tony-nominated performance as Thurgood Marshall, the remarkable Civil Rights lawyer and Supreme Court Justice. The Windham Theatre Guild is sorry to announce that for reasons beyond their control, they have had to cancel the February 2011 production of "Charlotte's Web". It is the WTG's hope to mount another production of this show in a future season.

According to EW.com, Tony Award-winning playwright David Mamet will be lending his voice to THE SIMPSONS for an episode in which he will playing an animated version of himself. In the episode, Mamet is 'a writer on Thicker Than Waters, a hokey '80s family sitcom that Homer becomes obsessed with. In a scene that winks at Mamet's penchant for using profanity, Homer winds up watching a documentary about the fictional comedy, which features old footage of Mamet getting an earful from one of the Thicker actors.'
