According to The Hollywood Reporter, the legendary director, who previously helmed CLOSER and CHARLIE WILSON'S WAR, is in talks to take on the film adaptation of Jonathan Tropper's novel ONE LAST THING BEFORE I GO. J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot is set to produce for Paramount Pictures.

According to Comingsoon.net Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm announced at today's CinemaCon in Las Vegas that they will offer a new STAR WARS film every summer beginning with 2015's STAR WARS: EPISODE VII. The studios will alternate these films with 'standalone' films which will focus on individual franchise characters.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today the initial slate of speakers confirmed to participate in the 5th annual Produced By Conference (PBC). Director and producer J.J. Abrams, producer Mark Burnett, actor and producer Tom Cruise and producer Gale Anne Hurd will participate as featured speakers joining a prestigious list of acclaimed producers and industry leaders in entertainment and digital media.

Television (WBTV) arrives in Anaheim for another exciting weekend at WonderCon 2013, starting with exclusive screenings of some of this season's hottest series - including The Following (Mondays 9/8c FOX) - on the big screen on Friday, March 29. Following that, fans can power up their Saturday with a special video presentation and panel session for this season's #1 new show, Revolution (Mondays 10/9c NBC, new episodes returning March 25), followed by Warner Bros. Animation's new super funny super hero series Teen Titans Go! (premiering Tuesday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network) on Saturday March 30.
