Whether you're in Honolulu, Bushwick or Beijing, New York is in your face. And, that's what In Your Face - New York's live performance show and podcast is all about. This fall, In Your Face - New York reveals once again why this town is the capital of the world. Taking place at Merkin Concert Hall (129 W. 67th Street, New York), the two shows - one slated for October 22nd at 5PM; the next on December 6th at 7:30PM- will feature songs and sketches performed by some of the city's most talented actors, writers, singers and musicians.

Symphony Space announces the 2017-18 season launch of Just Kidding on Saturday, October 7  at 11 am and 2 pm with two sketch comedy performances by The Story Pirates, an uproarious experience for the whole family.  The troupe features actors who take original stories submitted by children and create outlandishly funny sketches and mini-musicals that leave kids and their parents howling in the aisles.

Symphony Space, one of New York's best-loved cultural destinations, is pleased to announce a new season of lively and diverse programming, running from October 2017 through June 2018. Returning this season are Projects conceived by Artistic Director Andrew Byrne, each uniting Symphony Space's multidisciplinary events around a shared theme. The upcoming 27th annual The Donald M. Ephraim Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival will present movies from around the world, opening with ON THE MAP, the true story of Israel's 1977 basketball team, the first to ever bring the coveted European Cup to Israel. Film director Dani Menkin and basketball legend Tal Brody will attend and participate in a post-film discussion at the January 19 screening at the Kravis Center's Cohen Pavilion.

The cast will interact with a live musical ensemble directed by renowned New Orleans composer and bandleader Donald Harrison, along with projected imagery.

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater proudly presents a film and panel discussion, Art and Heart: The World of Isaiah Sheffer Tuesday, August 30, at 6:30pm. The discussion, moderated by WCAI's Mindy Todd, includes Isaiah's wife and executive producer of the film, Ethel Sheffer; creative consultant and Isaiah's daughter, Susannah Sheffer; and the film's executive producer, Gina Leonetti Boonshoft.
