The 13th Street Repertory Theater will offer audience talkbacks after the following performances of Chip Deffaa's new musical play 'Irving Berlin's America': Sunday, June 22nd at 8 p.m.; Thursday, June 26th at 8 p.m.; Sunday, June 29th at 8 p.m.; Monday, June 30th at 8 p.m.; Sunday, July 6th at 8 p.m.; and Thursday, July 10th at 8 p.m.

Mark Nadler's latest performance, Runnin' Wild, is guaranteed to win him more fans.

In the TV musical comedy-drama, Glee, the award-winning actress Jane Lynch plays the deliciously evil high school cheerleading coach-turned-principal Sue Sylvester, who is constantly trying to sabotage the efforts of the school's glee club to compete in singing competitions or even exist. It's a good thing nobody tried to prevent Lynch from taking a real-life crack at nightclub singing, as her debut show this past week at 54 Below (the last show is tonight at 8pm) was a delightful breath of cabaret fresh air.

Well, I'm sure that Ethel Merman is proudly smiling down at hers as Heather Carvel boldly tackles the role of a lifetime in the World Premiere of Warehouse Theatre Company's BIG VOICE: THE ETHEL MERMAN EXPERIENCE. Directed, conceived and written by Kristofer Green, every look, nuance, expression, and style is exactly dead-on, from hair to dress to even the way Ethel raised her eyebrows and smiled after a song.

Continuing Way Off Broadway's 20th Anniversary Season, the dinner theatre is preparing to bring the global blockbuster LES MISERABLES to the stage this summer.

Chip Deffaa's new musical play "Irving Berlin's America," which opened Sunday, June 15th at the 13th Street Repertory Theater, will have a post-performance celebration tonight (Thursday June 19th). "We're inviting the audience to stay after the show for some cake and soda, and a post-show discussion with the cast about Berlin. We have a lot to celebrate," noted writer/director Deffaa. "The show, which just opened, has just found a publisher. And we're celebrating the birthday of costar Giuseppe Bausilio, who is turning 17. If there's a more talented 17-year-old out there, I haven't met him! And if that were not enough, this is also the anniversary of the day Berlin copyrighted his first hit, more than 100 years ago!"

Coming off the filming of the fifth season of GLEE in which she portrays Sue Sylvester, and her Broadway debut as Miss Hannigan in the recent revival of Annie, the actress will appear for a four-night run

In a white dinner jacket and striped waistcoat, toting a violin case Mark Nadler sets the mood for his new show Runnin' Wild - Songs and Scandals of the Roaring 20's with his own arrangement of Cole Porter's Lets Misbehave, and Lets Do It and Harrington Gibbs, Joel Grey and Leo Wood's Runnin' Wild as he transports his audience to the sex, drug and alcohol fueled era of prohibition. The medley, with a pared back self accompaniment on the piano, highlights the cheeky wide eyed enthusiasm synonymous with Nadler's performance style that draws the audience in so effectively. Nadler is joined by Sophia MacRae on clarinet, appropriately dressed in flapper dress and feathers and Rob Chenoweth on Trumpet.
