Just as we were settling into a comfortably insane routine of Starbucks and shows, Festival 45 was over before we knew it.

In full festival hangover, we crawled out of bed early Monday morning to kick off day two of KCACTF. With our usual Starbucks in hand, most of our group headed to campus to see FOR SALE, by Garrett Lee Milton, a student playwright from James Madison University.

We have arrived! The St. Bonaventure University group has conquered day one of the Region 2 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival at Towson University. As a third year festival participant, I was thrilled to joined SBU Theater in four days of shows, competitions and a whole lot of Starbucks.

Three Cornish College of the Arts students have been chosen to participate in the 2013 Region 7 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Seniors Michael Feldman and Ben Wippel have been nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Auditions for their work on The Mystery of Edwin Drood last spring, and Shades of Blue, a 10-minute play by junior Leila Jacobson was accepted for a staged reading in the festival.

Nobody's Business Trio will warm up the Metropolitan Room tonight, December 15, 2012, at 9:30 pm as they invite you "Home for the Holidays."

B. Someday Productions' presents the first show of its 2012-13 season of "Comedies about things that aren't funny" with PROBLEM CHILD by Canadian playwright, George F Walker. PROBLEM CHILD is part of the SUBURBAN MOTEL series by Walker, six plays all taking place in the same seedy motel room. Dates for the production run tonight, November 1-17, 2012. Bob Fosse, who directed the original Broadway production, also contributed to the libretto. The musical uses the premise of a mysterious acting troupe, led by a Leading Player, to tell the story of Pippin, a young prince on his search for meaning and significance. The original cast included: Eric Berry, Jill Clayburgh, Leland Palmer, Irene Ryan, Ben Vereen, and John Rubinstein.

The Road Theatre Company and Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director, have announced the first production of their 22nd season, the west coast premiere of THE DETECTIVE'S WIFE, written by Keith Huff (The Bird and Mr. Banks, Pursued by Happiness, A Steady Rain), directed by Mark St. Amant (The Bird and Mr. banks, Pursued by Happiness) and starring Taylor Gilbert as Alice Conroy.

Producers Terry Schnuck, James & Catherine Berges, Crystal Beuerlein and Michael F. Neidorff today announced that they will present the Off-Broadway premiere of Falling, the new play by Deanna Jent, that will begin an open-ended run tonight, September 27th at the Minetta Lane Theater (18 Minetta Lane, one block south of West 3rd Street, just off of Sixth Avenue). Opening Night is set for Monday October 15th (7PM).
