On Tuesday, April 28th, WNYC Radio will open the doors of its new street-level public space, The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space. WYNC will host a 10-day festival to celebrate the new facility. Special Guests for the celebration will include Brian Stokes Mitchell, Liz Calloway, Rosie Perez, Peter Gerety, Jill Clayburgh, David Rabe, Ayodele Casel, Paul Krugman, Lou Reed, Ira Glass, Jason Moran, Cornel West, ETHEL String Quartet, Joy Behar, Richard Goode, Sonia Sanchez, Simone Dinnerstein, and ELMO, among others.

Ira Glass and 'This American Life' will be filming Mike Birbligia at 'Sleepwalk With Me' this Saturday, April 4th at both the 4pm and 8pm shows for the Showtime television series. Mike will be filmed on stage telling a bonus story that isn't usually in 'Sleepwalk With Me' so this will be an added bonus for audiences.

The new comedy Sleepwalk With Me by Mike Birbiglia has announced that is extending through March 22nd, 2009 at The Bleecker Street Theatre (45 Bleecker Street just East of Lafayette). In addition, there will now be a Saturday matinee at 4pm, which replaces the 10pm performance.

Bourdain and Batali, alleged 'bad boys of cuisine,' are not your typical celebrity chefs. This special event, ideal for getting into the Halloween spirit, is presented as part of Victory Gardens' new Fresh Squeezed series of late night shows, out-of-the-box performances and edgy social events showcasing fresh talent from Chicago and around the country, targeting younger, culturally adventurous audiences.
