The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts has been awarded a $100,000 grant from Disney to bring the Disney Musicals in Schools program to Palm Beach County.

San Francisco Ballet, long recognized for pushing boundaries in dance, has announced its 2017-18 Season program and schedule. This summer, SF Ballet will return to Festival Napa Valley for one performance only on Friday, July 21, 2017, accompanied by members of the SF Ballet Orchestra. In addition, this October, the Company will once again participate in World Ballet Day LIVE, a day-long streaming event (details to be announced).

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts today announced that YES Featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman have added dates to their recently announced 2017 North American Tour, including performing in concert in our Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. Concert Hall on Friday, October 13 at 8 pm.

On April 19, 2017, the Canadian Opera Company is hosting a meeting at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, organized by Dr. Dylan Robinson of Queen's University, to discuss First Nations song protocol and the use of Indigenous songs in Canadian compositions, such as Harry Somers' Louis Riel.

Jacob Jonas The Company--the 21st Century dance company which is quickly gaining acclaim and recognition for mixing contemporary ballet, breakdance and acrobatic movement--presents To the Sea: Dance Concerts on the Pier, a free two-night dance festival on the Santa Monica Pier on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 at 6pm. Burning Coal Theatre Company, an intimate professional theatre located in Raleigh, North Carolina and currently celebrating its 20th anniversary season in downtown Raleigh, is pleased to announce that on this date, it has paid off its "gap funding" loan with SunTrust Bank.  Nine years ago, Burning Coal renovated and moved into the Murphey School auditorium at 224 Polk Street in Raleigh.  The renovation cost the small theatre about $1.5 million dollars (which was 5 times our then annual budget).  In order to complete the final phase of the renovation on time, Burning Coal needed to take a "gap funding" loan. 

Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), opens at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on April 18 - 23.
