Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) announced today that St. Luke's Health System (SLHS) will serve as the 2014-2015 season sponsor. When TUTS' 47th season begins in September 2014, it will mark the sixth consecutive year for St. Luke's as the season sponsor.
Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig have announced new leads for their smash hit musical Kinky Boots; Andy Kelso, who currently plays 'Harry', will take over the role of 'Charlie Price' on January 28, 2014 following Stark Sands' January 26 departure. Jeanna de Waal will join the cast as 'Lauren,' beginning March 4, 2014 (replacing Annaleigh Ashford, who leaves to join the cast of Showtime's 'Masters of Sex'), and Jake Odmark joins the ensemble in the roles previously played by Andy Kelso. As previously announced, Billy Porter, this year's Tony Award-winner for Best Actor in a Musical, will remain with Kinky Boots.

The show also broke the Music Box Theatre house record last week for the highest grossing single performance on the evening of Friday, November 29th with $151,219. The record was then broken again on the evening of Saturday, November 30th with $151,977 gross sales. Roger O. The cast will perform Kinky Boots' glittering finale, 'Raise You Up' / 'Just Be' for the 87th Annual Parade, which will be broadcast live on NBC on Thursday, November 28 from 9 AM - noon EST (check local listings).
