Only Make Believe hosted its Annual Star-Studded Event, Make Believe on Broadway, at 7:00pm last night, November 14, 2016 at the St. James Theatre. Honorees for the evening included Academy Award-Nominated Actor Jude Law and Gregory Lee, President & CEO of Samsung Electronics N.A. From starring in the original production of ASSASSINS, to playing Mr. Snow against newcomer Audra ANN McDonald, to surviving SEUSSICAL, Eddie Korbich has proven time and time again that he is not only one of Broadway's best, he is also one of its nicest.
The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will return to OASIS (298 Eleventh Street, San Francisco CA) for a fifth appearance on Saturday, November 5 at 7:00 PM. The performance will celebrate the release of Sayre's debut comedy album The Gay Agenda, which is available on iTunes, the show's website and at upcoming appearances. The New York run of The Meeting*, which just opened its eights and final season at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater, has been sold out since the New York Times "Arts & Leisure" piece ran September 2014. On September 27 2016, Nancy Dussault presented 'MY LIFE UPON THE WICKED STAGE' at FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club. Nancy took the audience on a musical journey, returning to the heady days of her Broadway life. Expect this Golden Age leading lady to sing the brilliant songs of Richard Rodgers, Jule Styne,Burton Lane, and Stephen Sondheim. Nancy also regaled the audience with tales of being the first co-host of Good Morning America, co-starring in the New Dick Van Dyke show, and starring with Ted Knight in 'Too Close For Comfort', before returning to Broadway in Side By Side By Sondheim and Into The Woods. In 'My Life-Upon The Wicked Stage' Dussault brought her musicality, comedic storytelling, and unique personal accessibility to songs including 'Getting Married Today', 'Look To The Rainbow', 'Where Is The Tribe For Me', 'Old Friend' and of course, ' Make Someone Happy'.

Actor Richard Thomas will host Westport Country Playhouse's 2016 Gala "The Night They Invented Champagne: Celebrating Lerner & Loewe" on Monday evening, September 19. Performing the music of the legendary Broadway composing team will be artists Britney Coleman, Kristen Hahn, Robert Sean Leonard, Stephen Mark Lukas, Howard McGillin, Ciara Renee, Mary Testa, Richard Troxell, Max von Essen, Nicholas Ward, and members of the New York Theatre Ballet. Gala Director is Chase Brock, with musical direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell.
