SNL host J.K. Simmons and cast member Kenan Thompson braved the harsh New York winter to rush through this week's promo for the upcoming show.

The Pulitzer Prize winning drama Ruined by Lynn Nottage makes its Baltimore premiere at Everyman Theatre this winter. The epic play features a cast of 17, led by Everyman Resident Company Member Dawn Ursula, who was seen last season as Vera Stark in Nottage's comedic drama By the Way, Meet Vera Stark. The production is directed by internationally acclaimed director Tazewell Thompson and will run from February 4th through March 8th.

It was just announced that New York Times theatre writer Patrick Healy, will soon trade in Broadway for Washington as a NYT National Political Correspondent.

On this week's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, cast member Kate McKinnon stripped down for a new set of Calvin Klein underwear ads, spoofing a recent ad campaign by pop singer Justin Bieber.

A Broadway Christmas Carol, created by Kathy Feininger, returns to MetroStage for the holidays through Dec. 28 for a fifth season . It has been the holiday show for the past four seasons and has become a holiday tradition here at MetroStage. Prior to 2009, it had played to sold out houses at Round House Theatre in Silver Spring, Maryland, for seven consecutive years ending in 2004.

Producing Artistic Director Carolyn Griffin has announced A Broadway Christmas Carol, created by Kathy Feininger, will return to MetroStage for the holidays today, Nov. 25-Dec. 28 for a fifth season.
