Mesa Arts Center this week announced three additional shows in the 2015-16 Performing Live Season. These include; Spoken World at 8 p.m. on October 16, Ballet Folklorico de Mexico de Amalia Hernandez at 7:30 p.m. on October 23 and Last Comic Standing at 7:30 p.m. on November 24.

Green Spark Productions will present the world premiere of Here We Dance, a devised immersive theatrical fairytale party directed by S. Dylan Zwickel featuring live music by The Rooks and inspired by the Grimm's fairytale The Twelve Dancing Princesses.

Primrose Productions presents a new adaptation of the Medusa myth by Brooke M. Haney, from the poetry of Sheryl St. Germain, and directed by Tracy Bersley (choreographer for On the Levee at Lincoln Center, LCT3). Theatre intersects with visual art and poetry in this haunting and galvanizing perspective of the Medusa myth. Kiss Me or Cut Off My Head will play a three week limited engagement at the Soho Photo Gallery (15 White Street, New York, NY 10013).

'Artaud Artaud' is a 'cruel not-masterpiece in one act' written by Matthew Minnicino, directed by Jake Beckhard and perfomed by Artilliers performing company. The play is a comitragic carnival that centers around the godfather of the avant-garde theater, Antonin Artaud. It is a merciless parody of the sensibilities of Artaud's manifesto 'Theatre of Cruelty' and a sympathetic, semi-obsessive portrait of its greatest proponent and his somewhat dual nature. It is a faithful biopic written into a biting satire, yet is at its heart an homage to the messiness of creativity. 'Artaud Artaud' will have its world premiere September 1-15 presented by Theater for the New City's 2015 Dream Up Festival.

Syfy's highly anticipated space thriller The Expanse will launch with a two-night premiere Monday, December 14 and Tuesday, December 15 at 10PM (ET/PT). The epic drama from Alcon TV is based on the international best-selling book series of the same name and will regularly air on Tuesdays at 10PM for the remainder of its 10-episode first season.

The producers for the new Broadway production of D.L. Coburn's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, The Gin Game, starring Tony Award winners James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson, have announced a change for first preview and opening night dates. The production, originally scheduled to start previews on September 18, will start previews on Wednesday, September 23.

Legendary Off-Broadway extravaganza spawns a sequel, El Grande CIRCUS de Coca-Cola is now making its World Premiere in Los Angeles at the Skylight Theatre, and will add performances through September 20, 2015.
