Rainbow Theatre Project's next performance, Historias, is a piece of devised theater about what it means to be a Hispanic/Latino LGBTQ young adult in today's society. Historias will be performed on Monday, April 10 at 7:30pm at Source Theatre.

Underground Railway Theater will present Tony Kushner's Homebody from April 20 - May 7, 2017. Homebody is directed by Lee Mikeska Gardner. The press performance is Saturday, April 22 at 8PM.

Directed by Christopher Ashley, Artistic Director of La Jolla Playhouse, it has been hailed as "a polished, peppy, modern fairy tale" by The Washington Post. With high-energy choreography by Sergio Trujillo (Memphis, Jersey Boys), this vivacious production is "delightfully spunky" with "timeless appeal" (Variety).

The Cape Playhouse has big plans for little theatre goers this summer, as FunDay FriDays! Playhouse for Kids takes the stage.  From pirate tales to dogs performing hilarious tricks, puppets, magicians and jugglers, the schedule has something for all kids.

Theatre for a New Audience will present the Yale Repertory Theatre production of Samuel Beckett's masterpiece Happy Days. The most produced play in America in 2015-16, Ayad Akhtar's Pulitzer-winning drama Disgraced will tour universities and high schools in China under the direction of Timothy Douglas from April 3 to 30, produced by Ping Pong Productions with grants from the Henry Luce Foundation and the U.S. Embassy in China as well as major support from Chinese hosts and other local partners.

The University of Washington School of Drama will present Sarah Ruhl's adaptation of Orlando by Virginia Woolf, directed by School of Drama Professor and CIVIC REP Artistic Director L. Zane Jones. The production runs April 28th - May 7th at the historic Glenn Hughes Penthouse Theatre on the University of Washington campus.

Sweat, the new Broadway play opens today at Studio 54.
