Photo Flash: Family Holiday Shows Warm Audience Hearts at MCCC’s Kelsey Theatre, Beg. Tonight

Two heartwarming holiday productions will come to life on the Kelsey Theatre stage at Mercer County Community College this November and December. Perfect entertainment for the whole family. The fun starts with the hilarious Christmas tale, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER. Then, join the Kelsey Players as they present their annual holiday musical, 'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. A CHRISTMAS STORY Plays Clear Creek Community Theatre, 11/30-12/16

This year's Holiday Show will be the popular classic "A Christmas Story", running November 30th to December 16th at Clear Creek Community Theatre, with special appearances by Santa at most matinees! Humorist Jean Shepherd's memoir of growing up in the midwest in the 1940s follows 9 year old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas, only to get the consistent response: 'You'll shoot your eye out'. A fun, feel-good holiday special for all the family.

Tina Fey, Maroon 5 and More Join AMNH's 2012 Gala Tonight, 11/15

The 2012 Museum Gala will take place at the American Museum of Natural History tonight, November 15, with more than 600 guests expected to attend this year's event. As the institution's largest annual fundraising event, the Museum Gala helps advance its global mission to discover, interpret, and disseminate information about human cultures, the natural world, and the universe through a wide-ranging program of scientific research, education, and exhibition.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Presents TRELAWNY OF THE WELLS, 12/5-30

The 50th Anniversary season of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey concludes with the rarely performed comedic gem Trelawny of the Wells by renowned Victorian playwright Sir Arthur Wing Pinero. Westchester Broadway Theatre Presents MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, 11/29-12/31

Just in time for the holidays, Westchester Broadway Theatre (One Broadway Plaza, Elmsford, NY 10523) will present Miracle on 34th Street from November 29 through December 31. Based on a holiday tale written by Valentine Davies and made famous by the movie of the same name, Miracle On 34th Street has music composed by Doug Smith and book and lyrics by Vern Stefanic.

Laurence Connor and James Powell's direction of the current tour is energetic and lively from opening to close. There are cleverly paid notes of homage to Trevor Nunn and John Caird's original direction of the piece. Yet, the team really takes advantage of being able to breathe new life into the show, almost completely restaging every scene. Likewise, they have taken the opportunity to present a grittier and more realistic LES MISERABLES.

Eco-Friendly Jewelry Line MUJUS Launches New Collection

Super chic, yet environmentally conscious jewelry line Mujus launched their Spring/Summer 2013 collection. In this collection, the designer and owner, Paola Delgado, gathered inspirations from the mountains and ruins of Peru. Combining the contrasting colors of her home country, Paola wanted to capture the overall Peruvian design aesthetic that she has always known. Flashbacks of her cultural heritage and childhood memories are incorporated throughout the entire collection.
