With auditions already underway for the next season of AMERICAN IDOL, FOX has yet to announce its full lineup of judges who will replace exiting panelists Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.

Bayou City Concert Musicals will present the classic musical comedy, The Pajama Game, for five performances at the Heinen Theatre, 3517 Austin, September 12-15, 2013. The Thursday performance (9-12) will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the Friday (9-13) and Saturday (9-14) performances beginning at 8:00 p.m. There will be two performances on Sunday (9-15), a matinee at 2:00 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:30 p.m.

Tanglewood is the place to be for Labor Day Weekend. This Saturday, August 31, the Lenox, MA facility hosts two shows: Donal Fox: Scarlatti Jazz Suite Project at 1:00PM in Seiji Ozawa Hall, and Harry Connick, Jr. at 7:00PM in the Koussevitzky Music Shed.

Harry Connick, Jr. has joined the star-studded, international lineup of artists performing Edith Piaf songs September 19 at the Beacon Theatre. The concert marks both the 50th anniversary of Piaf's passing and the American debut of France's premier music festival, Francofolies.

Society for the Performing Arts announced today that Grammy and Emmy Award winner, Tony Award nominee and multi-platinum recording artist Harry Connick, Jr. will come to Houston for one night only, Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at 8 p.m. in Jones Hall. Devin Bing's show last Thursday night (the fourth of five dates at the Metropolitan Room over this spring and summer, with the next one on August 15) may have been performed in a cabaret club, but it was more a contemporary jazz/pop concert than it was a 'cabaret show.' The story theme on this occasion was 'Devin Bing,' as the ambitious young crooner strives to establish himself as the second coming of his musical hero Harry Connick, Jr., but with Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, and Michael Buble colors in his cooly-delivered vocals of original tunes and covers of jazz and Great American Songbook classics. On stage, Bing conveys a confidence that verges on cockiness, but he sprinkles just enough self-deprecation on his swagger to avoid a flavor of smarminess.
