To celebrate 40 years as East Tennessee's only professional theater, the Clarence Brown Theatre will give away 40 pairs of tickets in 40 days along with a Grand Prize winner at the conclusion of the giveaway. To enter the "40-40-40 Giveaway" to win the tickets, contestants must "like" the Clarence Brown Theatre's Facebook page (Clarence Brown Theatre). Current fans of the Clarence Brown Theatre Facebook page are automatically entered to win.

Theatrical Outfit begins its Season of Compassion with the dramatic comedy The Savannah Disputation, written by Georgia-born playwright Evan Smith and, he says, inspired by today's politics and his Savannah grandmother. The show will run August 21 - September 7, 2014. The show will feature Alex Bond, Lane Carlock, Shannon Eubanks and Mark Kincaid. This is the 38th season for Theatrical Outfit, the second-oldest professional theater company in Atlanta, and the home of stories that stir the soul.

Sean Watkins 4th Solo Album 'All I Do Is Lie' Out Today Via Roaring Girl Records

During a nine year recording hiatus from his Grammy award winning band Nickel Creek, singer/songwriter/guitarist Sean Watkins released his third solo album Blinders On, teamed up with Switchfoot singer, Jon Foreman, to form the band Fiction Family, as well as co-founded the experimental supergroup Works Progress Administration (WPA). In addition, for the last decade Sean & his sister Sara Watkins (also from Nickel Creek) have hosted a monthly residency at the Hollywood club, Largo, for their popular music show, Watkins Family Hour, which has featured guests such as Fiona Apple, Jackson Browne, Booker T, Grant Lee Phillips, John C. Reily, among many others.
