BWW Interview: David Fynn Chats UNDATEABLE & #15SecondShakespeare

Bad news comedy fans, after spending most of your Black Friday in a post-shopping, tryptophan-induced coma, you will not be able to share your evening with the hilarious cast of NBC's live sitcom UNDATEABLE. Preempted by the holiday favorite, the National Dog Show, the Black Eyes Bar crew will be back with an all-new live episode next Friday; well, actually two all-new episodes, since the UNDATEABLE gang performs each episode twice, once live for the East Coast, and again live for the West Coast. One of the joys of my Monday morning is watching both versions back-to-back on Hulu to see what jokes were added for the second broadcast.

The Winter's Tale, Shakespeare?s timeless tragicomedy of obsession and redemption, is reimagined in a new production co-directed by Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh following their triumphant staging of Macbeth in Manchester and Manhattan. Judi Dench will play Paulina opposite Kenneth Branagh as Leontes.

Donmar Warehouse to Add Audio Commentary to Encore CORIOLANUS Screenings

A pioneering audio commentary is set to accompany encore screenings of the hugely successful National Theatre Live broadcast of Coriolanus, featuring an Evening Standard Award-winning performance from Tom Hiddleston. Offering a unique insight into the process of creating and performing the production on stage, the audio commentary will accompany encore screenings throughout the UK from 24 September and internationally from 12 November 2015.

Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company to Broadcast Three Productions to Cinemas

It is announced today that the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company, in partnership with Picturehouse Entertainment, will broadcast three productions of its year-long Plays at the Garrick season live to cinemas worldwide. The first Branagh Theatre Live production will be The Winter's Tale at 19:00 on Thursday 26 November 2015. Tickets are now on sale.

Scott Alan Kicks Off Hippodrome Residency; Continues Tonight with Oliver Tompsett

Acclaimed songwriter Scott Alan returns to London for a two-week residency at The Hippodrome Casino. Featuring a different guest each night, the nine concerts will celebrate Alan's work in nights filled with heartfelt songs, the stories behind them and many surprises. Tickets are now on sale here.

First Pics Of Branagh Theatre Company For HARLEQUINADE/ALL ON HER OWN

The first publicity images featuring the company of Harlequinade and All On Her Own are released today. The Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's never-before-seen Rattigan double bill will play in repertory alongside The Winter's Tale from 17 October 2015 as part of the Plays at the Garrick season.

Zoe Wanamaker & John Dagleish Set for Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's HARLEQUINADE

Further casting for the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's Plays at the Garrick season has been announced. John Dagleish and Zoe Wanamaker are to appear in Harlequinade, with John also joining the company of The Winter's Tale. The two productions will play in repertory at the Garrick theatre from 17 October 2015 until 16 January 2016.

SUNNY AFTERNOON's John Dagleish Boards Kenneth Branagh's THE WINTER'S TALE

John Dagleish, Olivier winner for SUNNY AFTERNOON, is headed back to the West End. The Daily Mail reports that he will take on the role of conman 'Autolycus' in Kenneth Branagh's THE WINTER'S TALE. Branagh and Rob Ashford will co-direct the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's first show of the year, which is slated to run October 17, 2015, through January 16, 2016.
