January 24 and 25, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka will make his Austin Cabaret Theatre debut in his brand new show, YOU MAKE ME FEEL SO YOUNG, before premiering it in NYC in the spring. Expect to hear Sondheim, Comden and Green, Rodgers and Hart, Jerry Herman, and Cole Porter, and more, as Hunter tells his story from growing up in Dallas, to pursuing his dreams on the Great White Way.

Music Theatre of Connecticut MainStage, Fairfield County's award-winning professional theatre company, continues their 2012/2013 Season with 'Ancestral Voices.' The play runs February 1-17 at MTC Studio Theatre in Westport.

A total of 35 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists will converge on the Goodspeed campus this month to participate in the first-ever Johnny Mercer Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing more than twenty new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

Today at Goodspeed's 8th annual Festival of New Artists, the two-time Tony Award-winning theatre announced plans for the production of a new musical, Snapshots: A Musical Scrapbook. This original tuner is about trusting your heart and believing in your memories. With Book by David Stern and Music and Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the creator of nearly a dozen hit musicals it is unique storytelling at its best. The production will run this fall at the Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Connecticut, Goodspeed's home for new musicals.

The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive in Lincolnshire, will present an all-star cast in the World Premiere of NOW AND FOREVER: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, featuring the legendary composer's greatest musical treasures. The Eighth Annual Goodspeed Festival of New Artists, produced by Goodspeed Musicals' Max Showalter Center for Education in Musical Theatre, kicks off its tremendously popular three day festival of brand new works today, January 18, at the Goodspeed Opera House with a staged reading of Nine Wives.

Just announced is news that the Cole Porter classic, Can-Can, will kick up its heels in a new production to land on Broadway in Spring 2014. Presented by Jonathan Burrows, nephew of the musical's original book writer Abe Burrows, the new production features a revised book by David Lee (Two By Two and Gigi at Reprise, TV's "Frasier" and "Cheers") and Joel Fields (How I Fell in Love at Abingdon Theatre Company, TV's "Ugly Betty' and 'Raising the Bar'). Lee directs the production, featuring choreography byPatti Colombo (Peter Pan) and musical direction by Tony Award nominee Steve Orich (Jersey Boys). Prior to the Broadway production, a workshop will take place in New York in October 2013. Casting has yet to be confirmed.

Executive Producer Mike Isaacson announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2013 Season, which opens on June 17 with Monty Python's Spamalot. 'This is a phenomenally talented group of artists, and I'm thrilled to be working with all of them. Last season our audience inspired us to take many risks and push ourselves far. These directors and choreographers are already working on ways to top last season's level of excitement and excellence.'

A delightful midwinter night's dream, ALMOST, MAINE by John Cariani will play TheaterWorks in downtown Hartford. The sweet and poignant comedy runs January 25 - March 3, 2013, directed by Amy Saltz.

The musical THE FIG LEAVES ARE FALLING had a notoriously short run on Broadway the first time around. It is now being presented at Off Broadway's Connelly Theater and its star Jonathan Rayson chats about it and his career.

The evening features songs like What Kind Of Fool Am I, Mr. Booze, Sway, and many more. The evening is a tribute to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. This show is not an impersonation show just laid back evening celebrating the Rat Pack.

Marking the 25th anniversary of the John Waters' original film, Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly brings together an all-star cast of Broadway, film and TV stars for the full symphonic production of the Broadway musical, Hairspray. Hairspray: In Concert! will premiere with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra tonight, Jan. 11-13, 2013, and with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Jan. 24-27, 2013.

The Tony nominated star of Mamma Mia!, Broadway's original Donna Sheriden, is back in New York for one show only. Dubbed 'the first lady of Canadian theatre,' Louise Pitre is fresh from her starring turn in Mame at the Goodspeed Opera House. Pitre presents La Vie en Rouge, an intimate revue of material from her favorite roles, including selections from Les Miserables and Mame. The show is set for January 7th at 54 Below.
