Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) has secured licensing rights to the musical THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY.

The producers of COME FROM AWAY announced today that they will honor the residents of Newfoundland and Labrador and the 'come from aways' whose lives inspired the new musical COME FROM AWAY with two special benefit concert performances at Gander's hockey arena, The Steele Community Centre (155 Airport Boulevard, Gander, NL), on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 3pm (NDT) and 8pm (NDT). The benefit concerts, presented in association with the Town of Gander, NL, will star the cast of the Broadway and Toronto productions of COME FROM AWAY. Tickets are now on sale for the two benefit concert performances of COME FROM AWAY in Gander, NL and are $20. Just ahead of previews, Broadway Bounty Hunter writer, Joe Iconis gives viewers a sneak peek into his 'future Tony Award-winning' musical.  Broadway Bounty Hunter features music and lyrics by Joe Iconis (Be More Chill, The Black Suits, Bloodsong of Love), book by Joe Iconis, Lance Rubin (author of Denton Little's Deathdate) and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Off Broadway: Once Upon A Mattress), and choreography by Jeffrey Page (Broadway's Violet). Joel Waggoner (BSC's Presto Change-O, Southern Comfort) serves as music director.

The international smash hit musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is set on December 4, 1956, when an auspicious twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together. Sam Phillips, the 'Father of Rock 'n' Roll' who was responsible for launching the careers of each icon, brought the four legendary musicians together at the Sun Records studio in Memphis for the first and only time. The resulting evening became known as one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions in history.

Broadway In Chicago, Stageworks Media and TROIKA Entertainment have announced that tickets for CHEERS LIVE ON STAGE will go on sale to the general public today, July 22.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF), previously known as The New York Musical Theatre Festival, has announced that they have partnered with The ASCAP Foundation, The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME), and SDC Foundation to curate three panel conversations with industry professionals, aimed at providing more insight into the musical development process.

When looking for memorable images from America in the late 50's/early 60's, you are bound to find some old standards.
