The Drama League (Jano Herbosch, President) is pleased to announce that Jeremy Irons (Broadway's Impressionism) and Cynthia Nixon (Off-Broadway's Distracted at the Roundabout Theatre Company), who first starred together as father and daughter in the 1984 Broadway production of The Real Thing, will reunite this spring to serve as co-hosts for The 75th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon.
Tony Award winners Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons return to Broadway to star together in the world premiere of Impressionism, a new American play by Michael Jacobs. The production, which is directed by Tony Award-winner Jack O'Brien, will plays the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

Alan has numerous other stage and screen credits such as long-runs in TV's 'Jake and the Fat Man' and 'Three's a Crowd.' Alan will share his 'backstage Broadway stories,' helps us understand 'the business of show business,' and relate an insider's view on how a Big Broadway Musical gets from the first reading all the way to Opening Night. The new concert series, entitled 'LOVE SONGS' will premiere on Saturday, January 31st and continue through Saturday, February 28th at Broadway's premiere destination, SARDI'S (234 West 44th Street - between Broadway & Eighth Avenue).
