Sundance Institute showcases bold, independent storytelling at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, beginning with today's announcement of feature films selected across all categories. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 18 28.

Giovanni Cianci has joined THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT as music producer, it was announced today by executive producers Stephen Colbert and Chris Licht. In this role, Cianci will be responsible for booking and producing music segments for THE LATE SHOW and will work with supervising producer Emily Gertler and the show's talent booking team.

The 2017 BroadwayWorld UK Awards honour the best productions from the past year around the country and the best long-running West End shows. Voting is open until Friday, 8 December - just over a week away - with the winners announced soon afterwards.

Seven time Emmy Award-winner Ed Asner and three time Emmy Award and Tony Award-nominee Kate Burton will star in a two-week East Coast tour of concert readings of Jeff Cohen's play The Soap Myth. The readings, which will be directed by Pam Berlin and will also feature Ned Eisenberg & Blair Baker, will serve as a tribute to International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The tour will begin on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Miami Beach Florida, and will conclude on Thursday, February 1 at Hofstra University on Long Island.

Seattle Opera steams up McCaw Hall this winter with a comedy about sex: Mozart's Cos fan tutte! In this story, two sisters, Dorabella and Fiordiligi, are adored by their respective fianc s Ferrando and Guglielmo. But, when the two buddies decide to test the sisters' fidelity, the plot takes an unexpected turn: each man disguises himself and begins to woo the other's lover. Soon it becomes clear that everyone's feelings are much more complicated than any of them had thought.

Westport Country Playhouse will host a list of accomplished Broadway performers tonight for third annual benefit gala, Broadway Sings, benefiting the resident conservatory of the Playhouse, Broadway Method Academy (BMA).

The Aviva Players and Algonquin Theater Productions in association with Diodati Productions, Original Cast Records and The New York Association present Lady of the Castle, a ghostly post-Holocaust chamber opera based on a true story and an Israeli play by Lea Goldberg with music and lyrics by Mira J. Sir Richard Eyre's staging of Le Nozze di Figaro, with the action of Mozart's masterpiece relocated to 1930s Seville, returns to the Met on December 6 for 11 performances through to January 19, conducted by Harry Bicket. Initial performances feature soprano Christiane Karg making her Met debut as the maid Susanna, opposite bass-baritone Adam Plachetka as her fianc , the valet Figaro. Soprano Rachel Willis-S rensen stars as the Countess, a role she sang for her Met debut in the production in 2014, opposite bass-baritone Luca Pisaroni also reprising his interpretation as Count Almaviva, with mezzo-soprano Serena Malfi as his page, Cherubino.

International ballet superstar Ivan Putrov has assembled a cast of award-winning dancers for his latest Men in Motion programme exploring the changing role of the male dancer. Spanning 100 years in 100 minutes, Men in Motion pays homage to great dancers and choreographers of the past and showcases some of the most exciting artists of the present. Music Director Emeritus James Levine will conduct four performances of Verdi's Requiem, the first Met performances of Verdi's masterpiece since 2008. San Francisco Opera Center Director Sheri Greenawald today announced the eleven recipients of the 2018 Adler Fellowship. Eight singers, two pianist/apprentice coaches and one director will take part in the program. The multi-year performance-oriented residency offers advanced young artists intensive individual training, coaching and professional seminars, as well as a wide range of performance opportunities. Adler Fellows are selected from the artists who have participated in the Merola Opera Program. The prestigious fellowship has nurtured the development of more than 175 young artists since its inception.

The JEW OF MALTA by Marlowe, starring David Serero as Barabas, to be performed in New York for a one night only! On December 3rd at 8pm, the classic play the JEW OF MALTA by Christopher Marlowe will be performed in a stage-reading version, starring David Serero as Barabas. This one night only performance will feature Sephardic songs sung by actor and opera star David Serero at the Center for Jewish History (15 w 16th St. New York NY 10011).

Julie Taymor's production of Mozart's The Magic Flute, with performances from November 25 to December 9, is the first of two holiday presentations at the Met this season. Continuing a tradition inaugurated in 2006, the Met offers English-language, abridged performances geared towards families, with special discount pricing. Richard Jones's staging of Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel is the second holiday presentation, with performances from December 18 through January 6.
