The Georgia Ensemble Theatre in Roswell, celebrates its Silver Anniversary season with a new play by Atlanta-based playwright Topher Payne.

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET) is proud to continue the professional theatre's 25th Silver Anniversary Season, exclusively sponsored by The Thoresen Foundation. Co-Founder and Artistic Director Robert J. Farley has chosen five very special productions including three musicals for the season and says, Our 25th Silver Anniversary is going to be one big party all year long. Each show I have selected to celebrate this occasion has been chosen as a tribute to our subscribers, donors, sponsors, and supporters.

The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2016-2017 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, September 18, to patrons and industry artists.

Atlanta audiences are invited to take an existential trip into the human psyche, the Milky Way galaxy and beyond with Lost in the Cosmos: The Last Self-Help Seminar, a hilarious stage adaptation of the best-selling personal improvement book by Walker Percy (The Moviegoer). Theatrical Outfit proudly partners with the funny folks at Dad's Garage Theatre Company for Theatrical Outfit Artistic Director Tom Key's own adaptation of the popular work. This knee-slapping, mind-expanding comedy plays February 9-26, 2017 continuing Theatrical Outfit's 40th Anniversary Season of Hope!

Continuing the 43rd Season of Dunwoody's very own professional theatre, STAGE DOOR PLAYERS presents the return of the Suzi Bass Award winning holiday comedy, Let Nothing You Dismay by Atlanta's own Topher Payne. Shannon Eubanks directs. The show opens on Friday, December 2, and runs through Sunday, December 18. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm. Presenters included local favorite performers Denise Arribas, Tiffany Porter, Gina Rickicki, Clifton Guterman, Kevin Harry, Jeremiah Parker Hobbs, Chris Kayser, and Topher Payne.

Dad's Garage Theatre Company is extending its musical apocalypse for two more weeks, it was announced today The company is holed up at 7 Stages Theatre in Little 5 Points and aren't coming out until all of the zombies are gone - or through October 12th, whichever comes first.
