The Marsh presented the premiere of Ann Randolph's new solo show LOVELAND in October and has now been extended through December 12. Join Randolph as she takes audiences on the irreverent, hilarious, and deeply human journey of Franny Potts. Facing up to the greatest loss of her life while flying from LA to Ohio surrounded by strangers, Franny stumbles her way from awkward confusion through the mystery, tragedy and beauty that unite all us.

GODSPELL Redux; Revival is Aiming for Broadway in 2010-2011

Producer Ken Davenport tells Variety today that he's secured the rights and is aiming to bring Godspell back to Broadway during the 2010-2011 season. The last attempt to bring back to the show, in fall of 2008 with different producers failed to secure needed funding and fell through.

The Laguna Playhouse announces their upcoming shows from November 2009 through April 2010. The Laguna Playhouse was launched in a living room! That's right...on October 22, 1920, a group of dedicated local drama devotees got together and decided it was time to establish a community theatre in Laguna Beach. Initially there were play readings and performances in private homes and storefronts. The company's first full production on record was Suppressed Desires, a satire on Freudian psychology by Susan Glaspel, a member-with Eugene O'Neill-of the famed Provincetown Playhouse in New York and Massachusetts.
