Debbie Allen's FREEZE FRAME Coming to The Kennedy Center in October

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in association with The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, presents the East Coast premiere of Debbie Allen's Freeze Frame in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater in five shows, October 27-30, 2016.

BWW Review: DEFERRED ACTION at the Wyly Theatre

In 2015, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained and deported 69,478 individuals residing within the United States. More than 1.76 million residents of the United States were brought here as undocumented youth, immigrant children who attend school here, work here, and pay taxes here, but whose existence here is considered illegal. While this is a frightening setting for those living with the constant fear of deportation and divided families, this existence hardly registers with the charismatic politician Dale Jenkins, a principal character in David Lozano and Lee Trull's collaborative, political play, Deferred Action.

Cristina Fontanelli to Perform at Baruch's Engelman Recital Hall, 5/15

Acclaimed singer/PBS-TV host Cristina Fontanelli (www.cristinafontanelli.com) will perform selections from her concert, 'The Great International Songbook" (plus wine reception) on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 4:00 PM at the Engelman Recital Hall at the Baruch College Performing Arts Center, 55 Lexington Avenue, in New York City. Ms. Fontanelli's third-annual concert highlights songs of many countries to promote world peace through the universal language of music. ATDF to Celebrate National Tap Dance Day with TAP ATTACK, 5/22

In celebration of this year's National Tap Dance Day (May 25) the American Tap Dance Foundation (ATDF) will present Tap Attack, a free, public, outdoor event held at the grave site of dance legend Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson (1878-1949), for whom the national holiday is named.

T.J. Miller Drops Out of 24/7 ComedyFest at Orleans Arena; New All-Star Lineup

A night of laughter is in store as top comedians Billy Gardell, Jackie 'The Joke Man' Martling Frank Caliendo and more join forces for the 24/7 ComedyFest at the Orleans Arena on April 23. There has been a change to the original lineup -- due to unforeseen circumstances, T.J. Miller will no longer be performing at the event.
