The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in association with Bosc Publishing Company, Inc. presents The Calico Buffalo a new musical fable with book, music and lyrics by EJ Stapleton, and music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning composer Peter Stopschinski. Craig J. George directs a cast of ten, including Jennifer Apple, Rachel Coloff*, Rhys Gilyeat*, Zachary Infante*, Stephen Mark, Anthea Neri*, Rachel Rhodes-Devey*, Brooke Shapiro*, Kevin Sims*, and Max Wilcox*. The Calico Buffalo is being staged at PTC Performance Space, 555 West 42nd Street (bet. 10th & 11th Avenues) in NYC for five performances from tonight, July 8 through Thursday, July 16, 2015. *Appearing courtesy of Actors' Equity Association.

San Diego theater company THE TRIP, brings their newly acclaimed cinematic stage adaptation to New York City. ORPHEUS & EURYDICE written and directed by Tom Dugdale (Humana Festival; Contemporary American Theater Festival; Hungarian Theater of Cluj; Princess Grace Award Winner), will play five performances at Theaterlab NYC (357 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10018). Performances are Thursday, July 16th at 8pm; Friday, July 17th at 8pm; Saturday, July 18th at 8pm; Sunday, July 19th at 3pm; and Monday, July 20th at 8pm. David Hyde Pierce, winner of four Emmy Awards for his portrayal of Dr. Niles Crane on Frasier, and multiple Emmy Award winner David Lee, Frasier's co-creator and executive producer, will reunite to discuss what goes into making a hit television show. At this onstage conversation event co-produced with Gimlet Media's Alex Blumberg (formally of This American Life and Planet Money), Pierce and Lee talk about what worked, what didn't work, and how to develop a memorable character. A part of Lincoln Center's Masters on Masters series, the conversation will be held tonight at 7:30pm, at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, Frieda and Roy Furman Stage.
