Hello, Dolly! has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. Michael Stewart's (book) and Jerry Herman's (music and lyrics) masterpiece, Hello, Dolly!, returns to Broadway starring none other than Bette Midler. Directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, Hello, Dolly! is playing Broadway's legendary Shubert Theatre.

Gavin Creel has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for Hello, Dolly!. This marks the actor's third Tony nomination and first win. He was previously nominated for 2019's HAIR AND 2002's THROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. Creel won the 2014 Olivier and WhatsOnStage Awards for his starring role as 'Elder Price' in the London production of THE BOOK OF MORMON.

Earlier this evening, Pittsburgh CLO Guild President Anne Liparulo announced the Guild's pledge of $500,000 to Pittsburgh CLO's Next Generation Campaign at the 62ndAnnual Pittsburgh CLO Guild Gala, "An Evening in Paris." This special gift was presented as a surprise to Van Kaplan, accompanied by the 2017 CLOE Award, in honor of his 20th Anniversary as Executive Producer of the organization. The gift ensures Pittsburgh CLO will surpass its $10 million Next Generation Campaign goal.

Last night at Alice Tully Hall, The Performing Arts Hall of Fame at Lincoln Center held its first-ever induction ceremony and gala. The inaugural class of honorees included legendary artists Plácido Domingo, Yo-Yo Ma, Audra McDonald, Leontyne Price, Harold Prince, and Louis Armstrong. The event also honored Lincoln Center's founding members, whose spirit of innovation made Lincoln Center possible. Hosted by CBS's Norah O'Donnell, the-one-night only exclusive celebration raised $1.1 million for the 10 arts organizations of Lincoln Center.

On May 3, the 2017 Tony nominees flocked to the Sofitel New York, where they met with the press for the first time since getting the big news. The Trevor Project will present musician Dan Reynolds with the Trevor Hero Honoree, Deloitte with 20/20 Award, and marriage equality champion Edie Windsor with the Icon Award at the TrevorLIVE New York 2017 fundraiser to raise awareness of suicide prevention and crisis intervention for LGBTQ youth.
