The Broadway-bound show is in the midst of a New York City developmental lab through May 17, and a production source tells BroadwayWorld.com that ALLEGIANCE is aiming for Broadway, possibly in the spring of 2014. The source cautions that there's numerous variables including star schedules and theatre availability that need to line up, so there is yet no official plan.

This holiday season, Orange County found itself playing host to two very different families that couldn't be more disparate from one another--well, at least on the surface. On this corner... LITTLE WOMEN: The Musical. In the other... THE ADDAMS FAMILY: The Musical. What do they have in common? A daughter willing to risk it all for a chance to fulfill her dreams.

The choices I have made are based solely on the plays and performances that I actually saw. I cannot see all the great talent that is out there in LA; it is physically impossible, as there exist far too many theatre/cabaret performances for one person to cover. So if a choice of yours is not on my list, chances are, I did not see that play or performance...or, it just did not make the final cut. I also do not separate Equity from Equity waiver; I consider all the productions/performances I select to be of top-of-the-line quality/professionalism.

It's Halloween time and so the 5th Avenue Theatre has chosen to fill up our candy bags with a spooky little treat with "The Addams Family". And while this may not be the equivalent of the house on the block that's giving out the full size chocolate bars, it's far from the house that's handing out toothbrushes and dental floss. It's definitely the fun size candies and you can take a few of them.
