Yesterday, October 6, THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS company, including with legendary musical theatre composer John Kander, Tony and Emmy-nominated book writer David Thompson, five-time Tony Award-winning director/choreographer Susan Stroman, and the acclaimed cast met the press in anticipation of their Broadway opening this fall. ABC Daytime and the Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center are teaming up to present an evening of soap opera stars and Broadway song! Cast members from All My Children and General Hospital will perform the award-winning Kander & Ebb musical revue The World Goes ‘Round, seasoned with backstage insights and hush-hush previews of upcoming storylines.

The producers of THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS, the exhilarating new Kander & Ebb musical, are pleased to announce a student rush policy. THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS begins previews on Thursday at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). Opening night is Sunday, October 31.

Golden Globe nominee Linus Roache (widely known for his role as Asst D.A. Michael Cutler on LAW & ORDER) and Heather Burns (most recently on stage in THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO as well as the films MISS CONGENIALITY and TWO WEEKS NOTICE opposite Sandra Bullock) will star in the World-Premiere of Will Eno's play MIDDLETOWN, which begins previews at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) on October 6th, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director for the Vineyard Theatre.

The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) will opens its 2010-11 season with the world premiere of MIDDLETOWN, a play written by Will Eno (THOM PAIN), and directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director for the Vineyard Theatre. Previews are to begin October 6, with an official opening night and casting TBA.

It was here that Tony Bennett introduced his signature song 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco' and show business legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Marlene Dietrich, Tina Turner, Joel Grey, Bobby Short, James Brown, Vic Damone, Nat 'King' Cole, and many, many other performers held forth for more than four decades. Tickets now on sale for the world-premiere of MIDDLETOWN, Will Eno's play having its debut this fall at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15 St.), with previews starting October 13 prior to an official opening night of November 3.

Virginia's Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre today announced that, due to popular demand, the world premiere comedy, starring Helen Hayes Award winners Sherri L. Edelen (Signature's Sweeney Todd and Les Miserables) and Nancy Robinette, written and directed by Helen Hayes Awardee Joe Calarco (Signature's Side Show and Assassins), will now run from October 26 through December 26, 2010.
