BORIS: WORLD KING to Open at Trafalgar Studios

With his days as Mayor of London numbered, Britain's favourite comedy politician casts himself in another leading role: the star of his own West End show. This gaffe-a-minute comedy sees the thinking man's idiot wobbling on the brink of power. This rollicking tale packs in pay-as-you-go bikes, wiff-waff, and an ancient Greek lecture for good measure. Before long, verbal slips, trips and divine interruption cue a new battle - for his very political existence.

Neglected for over half a century, Sylvia Rayman's blistering drama is a real find - and, sadly, still relevant today.

New, Lucas Cast In Prick Up Your Ears At Comedy Theatre 9/17-12/6

Matt Lucas is to play Kenneth Halliwell alongside Chris New as playwright Joe Orton in Daniel Kramer's production of Prick Up Your Ears, a new play by Simon Bent. Inspired exclusively by the John Lahr biography and the diaries of Joe Orton, Prick Up Your Ears examines the private lives of these two extraordinary men.

Photo Flash: NO MAN'S LAND at the Duke of York

Rupert Goold directs Michael Gambon, David Bradley, David Walliams and Nick Dunning in Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, at the Duke of York's Theatre. The production is currently booking until 3 January 2009. A Gate Theatre, Dublin production, No Man's Land is presented by Sonia Friedman Productions and Michael Colgan, with design by Giles Cadle, lighting by Neil Austin and sound and music by Adam Cork. Goold's production transfers to London following its opening at the Gate Theatre, Dublin in August.
