Previews begin on Thursday, January 10th for the World Premiere of Michael Puzzo's Spirits of Exit Eleven at The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street, NYC). Marc Geller has been cast as Madame Irma in Horizon Theatre Rep's production of Jean Genet's "The Balcony" at the ArcLight Theatre.

Genet's menacing and hilarious world of political intrigue, violent revolution and distorted eroticism is measured against the mass-media manipulation of today. THE BALCONY will run from tonight, October 11 to November 4 at The Arclight Theatre located at 152 West 71st Street. It will be presented by Horizon Theatre Rep (www.HTRonline.org).

The two plays yet to be presented are Appendage by Derek Murphy, produced by Tweiss Productions (Sharon Weiss & Eileen B. Weiss); and The Sin Eater by Michael Bettencourt, produced by Block & Tackle Productions, Inc. and Elfin Frederick Vogel. New Artists Theater Company and the city of Hoboken present a staged reading of ON THE WATERFRONT, written by Budd Schulberg and produced by Nick Puccio and the Hudson Film Group. The staged reading will be presented Tuesday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 7pm in Frank Sinatra Park between 4th and 5th Street in Hoboken, NJ, and features cast members from The Sopranos, Oz, and Brotherhood.

The play, set to open on November 7, 2008 has already sold out its run at the Arclight Theater. The play also stars Ricky Aiello, whose father Danny originated the award-winning part of "Biggie" on Broadway.
