Two Muses Theatre Gets Support from Barnes & Nobles With Book Fair & Presents GREETINGS!

Two Muses Theatre, West Bloomfield's newest, non-profit, professional theater, continues to raise funds for lighting equipment and other improvements for the theater space they rent from Barnes & Noble. In conjunction with the bookfair is opening night of their interdenominational holiday show: GREETINGS! by Tom Dudzick. Photos from the production inside!

Maryland Ensemble Theatre Opens IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY, 12/9

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) continues its fifteeenth anniversary season this December with a festive new take on a holiday classic with, It's A Wonderful LIfe: A Live Radio Play. This award-winning adaptation brings Bedford Falls to life by way of an on stage 1940s radio broadcast, and you're invited to be a member of the live studio audience! Since its premier in 1996 playwright Joe Landry's It's A Wonderful LIfe: A Live Radio Play has been produced hundreds of times across the US and been heralded as, 'One of the best holiday shows around.' (Chicago Sun-Times). The story, true to Frank Capra's 1946 film classic starring James Stewart and Donna Reed, is told by six actors performing dozen of characters and all the foley sound effects in traditional old-fashioned radio style.

Pontine Presents IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE and A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES, 12/14-16

Get into the spirit of the season with a new twist on two holiday classic! Pontine Theatre's Co-Directors, Marguerite Mathews and Greg Gathers perform their original two-person staging of A Child's Christmas in Wales, and its condensed version of It's A Wonderful Life. Performances are Fri 14 Dec @8, Sat 15 Dec @4 & @8, and Sun 16 Dec @2, at Pontine's West End Studio Theatre located at 959 Islington Street in Portsmouth, NH.

IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE - THE RADIO PLAY Plays The Theater Project, 12/1

The Theater Project will present its holiday production of "It's A Wonderful Life: The Radio Play" recreating the Lux Radio Theater circa 1947, where twelve actors, a musician and one extremely overworked sound technician prepare for the big broadcast of the story made famous in the Frank Capra film. Adapted by New Jersey actress, director and playwright Liz Zazzi, "It's A Wonderful Life: The Radio Play," has become a holiday tradition at The Theater Project. This year's performance is at 3 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2012.

Marin Theatre Company Presents IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY, 11/23-12/16

Marin Theatre Company continues its 2012/13 Season with a family friendly production of It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, which runs during the holiday season from November 23 to December 16. Jon Tracy directs Joe Landry's live radio play adaptation of Frank Capra's film It's a Wonderful Life. Opening night is on Tuesday, November 27.

IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE Plays Mile Square Theatre, Dec 6-23

Celebrating its 10th Season, Mile Square Theatre-Hudson County's leading professional Equity company-will present a revival of It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play from December 6 through December 23 at the Monroe Theatrespace (located at 720 Monroe St. in Hoboken, 2nd Floor).

Charlotte Moore to Helm IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE at Irish Rep, Beginning 12/5

Irish Repertory Theatre continues its 25th Anniversary Season with IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, The 1946 Live Radio Play, with previews set to begin December 5, prior to its official Off-Broadway opening on Monday, December 10 on The Irish Repertory Theatre's W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre (132 West 22nd Street). Charlotte Moore (DANCING AT LUGHNASA, NEW GIRL IN TOWN) directs.

Stoneham Theatre’s IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE Begins 11/23

Two Muses Theatre presents an interdenominational holiday show: Greetings! by Tom Dudzick. The show will be performed on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons from November 23 through December 16. Two Muses Theatre performs in the intimate 160-seat theatre inside Barnes & Noble Booksellers, located at 6800 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield (south of Maple).

American Theater Company Presents IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: THE RADIO PLAY, 11/23-12/30

American Theater Company (ATC) presents the beloved holiday classic, It's a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play adapted from Frank Capra's film and directed by ATC Artistic Associate Jason W. Gerace and featuring Mike Nussbaum and Cliff Chamberlain. The production will run November 23 - December 30, 2012, at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago, IL. Press opening is Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
