Elevator Repair Service (ERS) is hosting their spring benefit on Monday, May 3rd, 2010. The company is currently finishing the third play in a trilogy of critically acclaimed plays based on great American novels by William Faulkner, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Ernest Hemingway.

According to director Michael Bay's official website, Broadway veterans John Malkovich and Frances McDormand have officially joined the cast of the upcoming film Transformers 3. Bay states that Malkovich and McDormand are 'both amazing actors [he's] always wanted to work with.'

The Wooster Group will present its first benefit artauction on the occasion of its 35 th Anniversary. Dubbed 'The Wooster (Support)Group', the event will feature live and silent auctions of contemporary art.

This year, Mile Square Theatre's production of its annual fundraiser 7th Inning Stretch features a selection of seven 10-minute plays from some of America's finest writers.

Written by James Strah, the production will run February 10th through 21st and is directed by Elizabeth LeCompte. The cast will include McDormand, Ari Fliakos, Scott Shepherd, Kate Valk, Steve Cuiffo, Koosil-ja Hwang, Paul Lazar, Zachary Oberzan, Jenny Seastone-Stern and Tierney.
