HAIR will close on Broadway on June 27th. The show, which had recouped on Broadway has been performing poorly as of late at the box office.

The Tony Award-winning Broadway production of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical is pleased to announce the success of their partnership with Clear Channel New York to create 'Love Out Loud: A Donation of LOVE from HAIR on Broadway,' a series of fundraising auctions to benefit The Fresh Air Fund that have raised over $15,000.

On Thursday, October 21, 2010 producers Tony Ponturo and Fran Kirmser, along with executive producer Nicole Kastrinos, will open LOMBARDI at the Circle in the Square Theatre on Broadway, directed by Tony nominee Thomas Kail. Previews will begin Thursday, September 23, 2010, following a July 22-28 engagement at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Joining Ponturo and Kirmser as a special producing partner is the National Football League, marking the organization's first foray on Broadway.

Steel Burkhardt, original cast member of the current Broadway and London revival of HAIR, will succeed Will Swenson as Berger on May 31 at London's Gielgud Theatre. The Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical will bow early in the West End on September 4, 2010, producers have revealed. While the production was scheduled to run through January 2011, the producers have reportedly decided not to recast the show after the current cast's contracts are up on September 4. The production opened at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End April 14th, 2010.
