The razzle-dazzle musical visits Philadelphia from September 15-20, 2009 starring JERRY SPRINGER, direct from London.

Here is a glimpse of what's coming to the Philadelphia Theater Area starting fall 2009 into 2010.

The Kimmel Center and Shubert Organization are thrilled to announce a top-notch lineup of Broadway theater as part of the new 2009-2010 Broadway Series at the Academy of Music and the Forrest Theatre. The new Broadway Series subscription season will feature: Grease starring American Idol Winner Taylor Hicks (July 7 - 12, 2009); White Christmas (Nov. 24 - 29, 2009); Dreamgirls (June 22 - 27, 2010) all at the Academy of Music; and August: Osage County (April 27 - May 2, 2010) at the Forrest Theatre.

Thomas Warner, who joined the Center in 1999, two years before its opening, has been named Vice President of Programming. Warner who first served as Program Manager, then as Director of Programming, will be responsible for the 'Kimmel Center Presents' series in the Kimmel Center and the Academy of Music-ranging across performance genres including classical, dance, jazz, world and popular entertainment. Warner will also be responsible for 'Free at the Kimmel,' a popular series of programs in Commonwealth Plaza open to the public free of charge.

The new National tour of the critically acclaimed production of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning musical 'A Chorus Line' opens on Friday, May 9th at The Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

The chandelier rises. The organ begins playing as The Forrest Theater welcomes back this popular choice for the holiday season.
