FOX's hit musical dramedy series GLEE has repeatedly paid tribute to legendary Broadway and Hollywood superstar Barbra Streisand as well as done due diligence insofar as spotlighting her famous first star vehicle, FUNNY GIRL, yet the new photos that have leaked of the upcoming tribute to the Fanny Brice-inspired musical are, in a word, gorgeous.

Complete casting for Beautiful Soup's upcoming world premiere production of Steven Carl McCasland's Little Wars has been announced. Thia Stephan directs the production.

Kim Rogers, who will be seen in Beautiful Soup's production of Liliom as Mrs. Muskat, will return to the stage this April as famed mystery- writer Agatha Christie in Little Wars, directed by Thia Stephan.

The opening number 'Oh, the Thinks You Can Think' is a wonder to behold with the entire company superbly choreographed to let us know the crazy Dr. Seuss ride that awaits. And what a crazy ride it is following Horton the Elephant (David Mitrano) as he fights for the small creatures of Whoville living on a clover and the egg left behind by its mother. Horton believes, and this company proves, that a person's a person no matter how small. Trust me, the smallest actors onstage are having the time of their lives and so are their proud families in the audience.

Richard Pryor, Jr. is set to join Beautiful Soup Theater for their one-night-only concert celebration of Broadway's biggest flops on Sunday, January 26th at 7:00pm.

Kevin Lambert (Broadway's Godspell) presents an industry reading of the musical Ghostlight, written and directed by Matthew Martin and Tim Realbuto on Monday, January 13th , 2014 at 5:00 PM. Ghostlight had two highly-attended, successful backer's auditions at The New 42nd Street Studios on December 2nd. This is the first time a show has added a third reading so quickly due to popular demand. The January 13th reading will take place at Theater Three, 311 West 43rd Street, 3rd Floor. Beautiful Soup Theater will present the World Premiere workshop production of Steven Carl McCasland's Little Wars. The limited engagement will play Roy Arias Stage II Theatre beginning April 23rd. Beautiful Soup is best known for reviving lost or oft-forgotten works, but occasionally presents workshops of new plays and musicals.

This is one of the first times a new musical has added another presentation nearly a month after its first one. The December 2nd evening was directed by Martin and Realbuto and featured an all-star cast which included 'That's So Raven's' Anneliese van der Pol as Olive Thomas, Three-time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello as Billie Burke, Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli as Ziegfeld, 'Pippin' star Rachel Bay Jones as Molly Cook, Kimberly Faye Greenberg as Fanny Brice, and Trevor McQueen as Jack Pickford.

The invitation-only industry reading of Tim Realbuto and Matthew Martin's musical Ghostlight, which had a sold-out and extended run at The Signature Theatre as part of NYMF 2011, is set for tonight, December 2nd at the famed New 42nd Street Studios in Times Square.

On last night's episode of Glee titled 'The End of Twerk,' Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Paolo (guest star Ioan Gruffudd) rehearsed 'You Are Woman, I Am Man' from Broadway's 'Funny Girl.' This season, Berry was cast in a fictional Broadway revival of the classic show.

The cast and creators of the new musical Ghostlight, which will have an industry reading this December, have been asked to appear on GingerNewYork, which airs live every Friday on MNN at 2:00 PM EST. The special Ghostlight themed episode will air today, November 15th.

Kimberly Faye Greenberg (One Night With Fanny Brice) will star in Beautiful Soup Theater's upcoming American premiere of LIFT. A smash hit at London's SoHo Theatre, LIFT played to sold out crowds earlier this year in a production from Pitch Perfect Musicals. It makes its New York bow in a new production directed by Steven Carl McCasland.
