Broadway leading lady Jennifer Hope Wills (THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA; WONDERFUL TOWN) will play the role of scorned wife 'Billie Burke' (who was famously married to Flo Ziegfeld, but was perhaps most known for he role as Glinda in MGM's classic THE WIZARD OF OZ) in the highly anticipated staged reading of GHOSTLIGHT the musical tonight, October 22nd at 9:00 PM.

The Emerging Artists Theatre has invited GHOSTLIGHT to perform a workshop/staged reading of their show as part of their prestigious New Work Series. The exclusive performance will take place on Thursday, October 22nd at the TADA! Theatre, 15 West 28th Street in NYC, at 9:00 PM.

The “Barbra Question” can often plague theatre companies when the idea of producing a Funny Girl musical is brought up. How can one produce the show in a way that even comes close to the iconic version that Streisand led in her breakout role? The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces full casting for their production of Funny Girl. Joining Sheridan Smith as Fanny Brice are Valda Aviks (Mrs O'Malley), Natasha J Barnes (Emma/Mrs Meeker), Darius Campbell (Nick), Marilyn Cutts (Mrs Brice), Maurice Lane (Mr Keeney), Bruce Montague (Ziegfeld), Joel Montague (Eddie), Gay Soper (Mrs Strakosh); withEmma Caffrey, Matthew Croke, Joelle Dyson, Rebecca Fennelly, Luke Fetherston, Leah Harris, Kelly Homewood, Sammy Kelly and Stuart Ramsay completing the ensemble.

On Sunday afternoon, we journeyed into the Valley to see the Ventura County resident play the part of Molly, pretty much your typical 14-year-old teenaged girl, in a one-girl musical called Welcome to My World, which played at the Grove Theater Center in Burbank.

FUNNY GIRL is getting a bit of a makeover! According to Daily Mail columnist Baz Bamigboye, KINKY BOOTS book writer Harvey Fierstein will rework the book for the upcoming (and already sold-out) London revival of Funny Girl, starring Sheridan Smith.

Yesterday, the creative team of GHOSTLIGHT the musical announced that Leigh Martha Klinger will play the leading role of 'Olive Thomas' in next month's high profile staged reading of the show. Today, they have announced that Kimberly Faye Greenberg (DANNY AND SYLVIA) and Abigail Ludrof (The HVAC PLAYS) has joined the cast as 'Fanny Brice' and 'Molly Cook', respectively.
