Public Theatre Presents HAIKU, HIP HOP AND HOTDOGS, Now thru 5/22

Well known children's poems spring to life when The Crabgrass Puppet theatre brings their delightful show, Haiku, HipHop and Hotdogs to The Public Theatre today, May 19th at 2pm, with additional school day morning matinees May 20-22. Perfect for families and children pre-K through fifth grade, this production is a fun way to introduce a child to the magic of theatre, at the affordable price of only $5 a ticket for children 18 and under, and just $10 for adults.

BWW Flashback: Second Stage's THE LAST FIVE YEARS Ends Extended Run Today; Ghostlight Set for New Recording, Film

In May, it was announced that Ghostlight Records will preserve the hit Second Stage Theatre production of The Last Five Years, created and directed by Jason Robert Brown. Second Stage Theatre has extended this production starring Adam Kantor and Betsy Wolfe three times. The Last Five Years is performed at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street) through today, May 18, 2013. THE WIZ to Close Berkeley Playhouse's 5th Season, 7/13-8/25

The final main stage production of Berkeley Playhouse's fifth season is the Tony Award-winning THE WIZ, a soulful re-imaging of L. Frank Baum's family classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The production will run July 13-August 25, 2013, featuring Book by William F. Brown and Music and lyrics by Charlie Smalls.
