The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast (PMP/Suncoast) expands its programming for the 2015-2016 Season by offering PMP Alumni: In Concert, a series of three concerts featuring alumni of New York's esteemed Perlman Music Program (PMP).

The new Broadway production of D.L. Coburn's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, The Gin Game, starring Tony Award winners James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson, begins previews tonight, September 23. Opening night will be on Wednesday, October 14 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue).

Fred Winship, long time theatre reviewer for UPI, died peacefully at 90 in his apartment on E. 57th Street in NYC on September 3, 2015. No cause of death was given; it was probably a sudden heart attack. He was writing a review of a play he had just seen when he died.

Annapurna is the tenth highest mountain in the world, named after the Hindu Goddess of nourishment. In the new play by Sharr White, Ulysses writes an epic poem about his ex-wife Emma in which he uses climbing Annapurna as an analogy for their long, complicated, fractured relationship. The revelation of the poem comes at the end of 90 minutes of taut, natural, funny, heart-breaking, real, beautiful dialogue between these two layered and well-defined characters. And you couldn't ask for two better actors than Angela Timberman and Terry Hempleman to play Emma and Ulysses. Everything about the Jungle's production of ANNAPURNA, from the set to the acting to the music to the direction to the costumes (or lack thereof), is gorgeous in a starkly realistic yet poetic kind of way.

One by one, 30 guests, greeted by an uncanny cast of characters, will step into a dream world designed to explore different facets of the human psyche. Guests are free to find their own path, from the dark recesses of the basement to the illumination of the attic. Intimate encounters that range from the dark to the delightful seek to ignite the senses and jolt audiences into a different psychic state.
