The first TV spot has aired for Peter Jackson's highly anticipated film THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY. The film opens December 14th. Check out the ad below!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a 'knowledgeable source' has revealed that funnyman Stephen Colbert will make a cameo appearance in Peter Jackson's upcoming HOBBIT trilogy. The 'Colbert Report' host is a known J.R.R. Tolkien and Lord of the Rings fan who teased the possibility of a cameo in a recent interview with Playboy magazine.

TheOneRing.net reports that New Zealand musician Neil Finn will provide the ending credits song for the highly anticipated film THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY. Finn is best known as the lead singer and guitar player for the band Crowded House.

According to Deasline.com, Evangeline Lilly and Barry Humphries will join previously announced Sir Ian McKellen and Cate Blanchett in 'The Hobbit.' Lord of the Rings director and Oscar winner Peter Jackson, who will direct the two-part film, wrote in a casting update:'Evangeline Lilly will be playing a new character-the Woodland Elf, Tauriel. Her name means 'daughter of Mirkwood' and, beyond that, we must leave you guessing!.' He added, 'I'm also highly excited that Barry Humphries will be portraying the Goblin King, in much the way Andy Serkis created Gollum.'

As part of a special issue, the newest 'HELLO Canada' features 50 of Canada's Most Beautiful People.
